Virtual Pottery – Yoon Chung Han

Another Interesting work from Yoon Chung Han

Virtual Pottery is an interactive audiovisual piece that uses hand gesture to create 3d pottery objects and sound shape. Under the Opti track motion capture (Rigid body) system in TransLab, UCSB, users can take a glove with attached trackers, move the hand in x,y,z axis and create their own sound potteries. Users can also save their potteries and arrange it on the musical score interface in order to create continuous musical compositions.

Tree Rings – Yoon Chung Han

As I have more and more artist friends in Facebook, it is increasingly becoming a good resource for me to discover great works. Yoon Chung Han’s Tree Ring is one of such discoveries.
